Patient Coordinator

Seeing a comfortable, confident patient focused team member to handle the daily operations of a successful dental practice. Friendly, excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting dental treatment great work ethic and strong leadership abilities are required.

Experience with Dentrix software is a PLUS!

We are a fee-for-service SPECIALTY OFFICE and pride ourselves on providing high-quality care for our patients and referring offices, with an emphasis on excellent customer service, always aiming to create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for our patients.

This position requires experience in the dental field, with preference to those with experience in specialty practices. Duties would include scheduling existing and new patients, coordinating care with referring dental offices, verifying insurance benefits, reviewing treatment costs and financial policy with patients, scheduling patients for treatment, and maintaining a productive doctor and hygiene schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned).

Answer phones, schedule new and existing patients

Coordinate care with referring offices

Schedule and confirm patient appointments

Maintain productive doctor and hygiene schedules

Document conversations with patients and referring offices regarding the delivery of patient care, by recording in patient charts

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Duties and assignments may change at the discretion of the supervisor

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR SATISFACTORY JOB PERFORMANCE

Min 3 years’ experience in treatment coordination in the dental field, with a preference for front office.

Fluent in dental terminology and procedures

CPR certification

Basic/advanced computer skills, including use of email and email attachments (PDF, JPEG, DOC, XL)

Experience with Dentrix patient management software preferred

Comfortable with the use of technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
