Essential Duties:

  • Working with building materials & supplies
  • Ability to run a job safely & efficiently
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
  • Coordinating demolition work according to priorities and plans (Internationals, Sawcutting, Roll Off, etc)
  • Ensure manpower is adequate (schedule & communicate with crew)
  • Ensure resources are adequate (scheduling rentals, trucks, tools, equipment, etc)
  • Must be safety-oriented & supervise the safety of all workers on the job
  • Working and cooperating with customers, management, project managers, superintendents, general contractors & crews
  • Completing job-related paperwork, pre-task planning, and forewarning of changes
  • Allocate and delegate responsibilities
  • Fully participate and engage in demolition work
  • Supervise and train workers
  • Accurately using and maintaining all Hillen Corporation tools and equipment
  • Ability to run all small equipment as well as supervise the use of equipment
  • Capable and competent in all areas of demolition
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Working with hand tools & power tools
  • Attending trainings and badgings, as needed
. Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory experience REQUIRED
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check
  • Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to work hard, learn, and be part of a team environment
  • Must be safety-oriented
  • Dependable, reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Proactive & self-motivated
  • Working indoors & outdoors with the possibility of adverse weather conditions
  • Flexible availability to work days/nights/weekends
