Join a team of highly engaged professionals who are part of the FinishMaster Inc. Demand Planning and Commercialization Manager position is a key role within the FinishMaster Supply Chain. An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems, develop new processes and systems to close the gaps is highly desired.

As a Demand Planning and Commercialization Manager, you will partner across sales, marketing, product line, finance, and operations to develop and execute commercialization and demand planning processes. The person in this role will be responsible for all forecasting and commercialization activities associated with customers and products by utilizing business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and mange weekly/monthly demand planning process.
  • Lead and facilitate weekly/monthly forecasting meeting that will drive results for S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning)
  • Work with brand marketing and sales team to recommend the best forecast approach and produce a monthly consensus forecast that will be communicated to supply plan planning team.
  • Maintain and produce reports for key monthly measurements of forecast accuracy
  • Maintain data in forecasting software and manage statistical tuning as well as interfaces with Power BI and JD Edwards DRP.
  • Drive and develop forecasting process improvements and promote best practices
  • Lead special projects and prepare/make presentations as required
  • Incorporate New Product Introduction (NPI) projects into demand planning process by developing and executing commercialization process.
  • Execute, manage, and elevate communication of NPI product launch timing and details to all audiences.
  • Execute, manage, and elevate timely, accurate, actionable reporting to stakeholders, customers and interested executives by collecting, analyzing, validating, and cascading status reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Drive, support, communicate, and elevate the transition planning process to continually improve phase out of previous generation, and phase in of NPI.
  • Work with and through cross functional teams to strategize on solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to define and implement plans for improvement and to drive results and outcomes.
  • Lead team to meet defined annual goals.
  • Build, train and retain team and develop capability of your team

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications):

  • BA/BS degree required with preferred emphasis on Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting process, SIOP/S&OP/IBP processes, basic operations, inventory planning, and statistical analysis
  • Advance knowledge on business software (Excel/Word/Power Points/others) with experience in creating and giving presentations at various levels of management
  • Knowledge on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
