Delivery Driver/Sales Associate

Position Summary:The delivery driver will deliver cakes, balloons and additional retail items ordered by our guests either to homes or businesses as well as deliveries and errands for management. The deliveries will be made during the business day in a timely manner with a professional presentation and a confirmation of receipt from the recipient.

The driver will need to carry brochures and have a good knowledge of NBC's products and services as he/she will be asked many questions while doing deliveries. The driver will be responsible for logging mileage, keeping the delivery vehicle clean and will work with management to keep it maintained and running properly. The driver will stay in touch with the bakery throughout the day by calling and being available to take calls at a safe time. Requirements:

• Abide by all NBC policies and procedures
• Uphold NBC's image and brand
• Deliver cakes in a timely manner
• Run errands for management
• Log mileage
• Clean delivery vehicle
• Present cakes according to NBC's standards
• Stay in touch with the bakery throughout the day
• Drive with courtesy and caution
• Educate individuals about NBC's products and services
• Inform management of any traffic violations, accidents or damage to delivery vehicle immediately
• Inform management of any change in driving record immediately
