Delivery Driver

Carolina Fun Factory is a party and event rental company looking to hire delivery drivers

We DO NOT Deliver Packages like FEDEX, UPS, or Amazon

We deliver party and event rental items that range from 50-500lbs.

Looking for drivers to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday primarily, but routes are available 7 days a week.

Responsibilities:

· Deliver/Pick up a wide variety of inflatable units, games, concessions, and supplies to different addresses and locations

· Follow routes and time schedule

· Load, unload, prepare and inspect the equipment

· Setup parties/events in a safe and timely manner

· Collect payments at times

· Inform customers of safety rules and policies

· Complete logs and reports

· Follow all safety rules

Requirements and skills:

· Proven working experience driving a truck/trailer as a Delivery Driver

· Valid professional driver’s license

· Ability to operate a ¾ ton truck and 16ft trailer in a variety of weather and traffic conditions

· Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

· Be outgoing and friendly

· Be a hard worker with a strong work ethic

· Willing to work long hours in adverse weather conditions

· Good driving record with no traffic violations

· Be physically fit and able to carry, lift, bend and maneuver heavy loads

· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· Clean driving record

· Familiarity with driving a ¾ truck and 16 ft trailer or larger

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
