Delivery Driver-Craft Beer-Fulltime- (3 Day Weekends!) - Indianapolis, IN

Description: Join Cavalier’s delivery team to deliver beer and provide great customer service to fellow beer enthusiasts! Our drivers deliver kegs and cases of craft beer to bars, restaurants and stores all over the state. Join our team to be a part of this fun and exciting industry. Our delivery drivers typically work Tuesday through Friday, often with opportunity for overtime. Hourly pay rate with a monthly bonus potential. You will also receive a sign on bonus of $1000 which is paid out $250 at 30 days, then $250 at 60 days & $500 at 120 days!!
Principle Responsibilities:

• Safely & courteously deliver and satisfy the needs of our customers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Follow all Cavalier's Operational Procedures.
• Accurately follow paperwork procedures and execute cash management duties
• Protect the company's assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean vehicles, always complying with the company’s safety and security standards
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including DOT safety regulations
• Immediately report accident, equipment malfunction and DMV or Traffic Violations
• Ensure cargo is secured properly and compliant with safety requirements
• Maintain truck and related equipment in clean good working condition
• Control, protect, maintain trucks inventory and equipment
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Assist in loading and unloading truck
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager

. Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of Cavalier Distributing products. (Become a craft beer expert!)
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to speak and write the English language at least at the high school level is required.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
• Ability to add and subtract, using whole numbers and decimals.
• Excellent customer relation skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to process information/merchandise.
• Ability to communicate with supervisor, Company Sales Representatives, current and prospective customers on a professional level.
• Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
• Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license with a clean DMV record with no more than 6 points on license.
• Ability to read maps/directions and operate GPS units.
• Must pass DOT required pre-employment criteria for medical card.
