SUMMARY

Our Inclusion & Diversity team is looking for a top-notch business partner with a consultative mindset and a passion for building a culture of inclusion. The Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) Sr Business Partner is responsible for the creation and implementation of programs and initiatives designed to retain, develop and promote diverse talent across all areas of the organization. The ideal candidate will report to the Senior Manager of DEI Talent Strategy, and partners with Talent Acquisition, College Internship programs, and HR. You will develop, implement and track ongoing strategic initiatives that advance inclusion and diversity. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and has strong program/project management skills. The Sr Business Partner will collaborate with a wide variety of team members, departments, leadership teams, and third parties as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and implement strategic solutions that drive the DEI strategy at Advance to include initiatives and/or programs for specific demographics and lines of business talent needs.
  • Diverse Talent Acquisition support: sourcing, talent assessment, job description review, inclusive interview processes, develop interview bias checks
  • Be instrumental in the execution of Advance’s enterprise wide I&D strategy
  • Responsible for creating and implementing internal I&D programs, events and initiatives for designated business partners.
  • Represent D&I; initiatives internally and externally. • Build impactful relationships with peer organizations and D&I; leaders within the company to support our internal initiatives and recruitment strategies for underrepresented groups. • Partner with the HR COEs to enrich our retention and employee development strategies, including attracting, training, performance and career development solutions for employees and managers.
  • Partner with I&D Analyst to use data and metrics to establish ROI and identify opportunities to strengthen inclusion and diversity across the organization.
  • Conduct a needs assessment and develop project plans for any program and/or diversity training requests that focus on inclusion and diversity.
  • Create and oversee budget for designated projects and programs.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A./B. S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience Recent experience in a diversity focused role.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in all levels of project management/change management, from making strategic decisions to tactical implementation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence people of different backgrounds and styles. Experience crafting internal communication a plus.
  • Experience developing end-to-end, scalable solutions for challenging problems
  • Preferable experience diversity and inclusion consulting experience with demonstrated business results working with employee networks and diversity councils
  • Ability to work across different functions and build relationships with stakeholders and champions
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus or experience leading Hispanic focused D&I initiatives.
  • Experience designing data-driven programs
  • Ability to clearly articulate and reinforce diversity and inclusion strategy and the company’s business case for diversity
  • Forward-thinking, detailed-oriented, personable, excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills to handle complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with proven time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and organize complex information
  • Ability to demonstrate awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, educational, age, sexual orientation, linguistic, professional, and other differences that make us unique.
