Job Summary

To operate the warehouse forklift and perform various material handling duties. Lift operators must be certified and experienced in deep reach forklift process and operating in narrow aisles. The warehouse has double deep reaching, three levels high. Deep reach lift operators primary perform put-away and picking operations.

Essential Functions

• Sign out equipment daily using release form.
• Prior to signing out equipment, perform operations and safety checks including battery, brakes, controls and fire extinguishers.
• Proceeds safely to assigned area to pull, load and move product and checking locator software system.
• Return equipment to correct station and prepares equipment for daily (overnight) charge upon the end of each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
• Performs all duties as requested.

Job Qualifications

• High school or Technical school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of recent Deep Reach Forklift Experience
• Forklift certification
• Clean driving record (no property damage accidents or DUI's within the past 3 years).
• Must be dependable, reliable and responsible enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must possess basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 55 lbs overhead.
• Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination and motor skills.
• Must be able to stand, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel and/or crouch for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour
