Decision Support Analyst, Finance

The Decision Support Analyst serves a key analytical role within the Hospital Operations team. The position is located at the Tenet Home Office in Dallas, Texas and will report to the Manager of Decision Support.

The Decision Support Analyst serves two primary responsibilities:
The first primary responsibility is to analyze the company’s cost structure by providing costing and financial analytics to key stakeholders. The position will also support the maintenance, development and enhancement of the decision support tools and application.
The second primary responsibility is to assist in the performance of complex Service Line Profitability / Margin Management analyses for the enterprise. The position is responsible for creating pro-formas and strategic presentations for a clear understanding and decision making purposes utilized by senior leadership teams. The position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data components outputted from the costing system.

The Decision Support Analyst may also assist in new projects incorporating analysis on several Business Intelligence platforms for Tenet Senior Executives and Department Heads. The Decision Support Analyst will actively contribute in the project management for system development initiatives and work with system users to enable them to utilize the system outputs. The position will also provide ad-hoc reporting and maintain relationships with other business system owners and key stakeholders.

• BBA (required) or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong Analytical and Interpretation Skills
• Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
• Strong Communication Skills to Senior Management
• Comfort in Training Other Individuals
• 1-3 years of experience in Cost Accounting / Healthcare Finance Preferred
