DC Power Helper Technician

Alpine Power Systems, established in 1963, is the country’s most dynamic turn-key supplier of back-up power systems, including batteries, UPS, generators, power equipment and renewable energy.

We are currently seeking a DC Power Helper based out of Houston, Texas.

Must be mechanically inclined, and willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing battery maintenance.
• Responsible for installation and removal of batteries and peripheral equipment.
• This job will require travel Monday - Friday, Schedule and hours may vary depending on the project.
• Must follow OSHA, NFPA70e, I.E.E.E and company’s safety procedures.
• Ability to work various work shifts and varied weekly schedules to meet customer completion needs.
• Meet or exceed customer and internal company project completion goals and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have:

• HVAC, Telecom, DC Power Plant, or Battery Service Experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL.
• Ability to travel within Kentucky & South Indiana.
• Basic mechanical skills & electrical skills
• Capability of Lifting 70+ pounds.
• Must be able to pass Background Check
• Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test
