DC Order Picker/Stocker- HVAC&R Industry- Stella Link Location

Job Summary:
Under designated supervision, performs a variety of clerical and manual duties related to the stocking of bins and the retrieval of merchandise to fulfill branch replenishment and customer orders.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Pull required inventory to accurately and completely fill all daily computer generated branch transfers within a timely manner. Organize and package all materials for maximum shipping efficiency and minimal transit damage. Tag all packages with the correct shipping designation for easy recognition. Upon completion of each set of branch transfers, stage the prepared materials in the designated area for verification and shipping. Perform daily system generated cycle counts and manual cycle counts in designated areas to ensure 100% inventory accuracy. Perform daily receiving and put away process for incoming materials to keep the bins stocked and materials organize. Responsible for maintaining assigned work areas in a professional manner to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment for all.
Additional responsibilities:
Unloading and receiving of inventory. Perform inventory stock checks via phone call. Assist with the loading of merchandise to vendors and customers. May perform other assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
High School Diploma or GED certificate. Forklift certification (as required).All work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds and over during the day. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. Must be able to pass a criminal and driving background investigation. Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen and breath alcohol test
