Summary
Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness and appearance of office or contract location. Complete minor plumbing, electrical, etc. repairs and maintenance as needed. Sweep, damp mop, high dust and low dust, operate buffer or scrubber, clean windows, dump trash, wax floor, and clean restrooms. Set up for all events at location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Follow the MSDS guidelines when using various chemicals.
Complete minor plumbing, electrical, etc. repairs and maintenance as needed.
Assist with maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles.
Empty trash receptacles.
Clean and sanitize all toilets, urinals, and sinks.
Sweep and damp mop floors using a disinfectant cleaner.
Refill all paper and soap dispensers as needed.
Clean and wipe all mirrors using glass cleaner.
Spot clean all walls to remove stains or prints.
Buff floors to remove scuff marks.
Strip and wax floors to remove scuff marks.
High dust above 70 inches including air ducts.
Vacuum traffic areas and office areas.
Dust and vacuum waiting chairs.
Top scrub and repeat if needed.
Mop for spills.
Clean, wipe sinks, and water coolers with disinfectant cleaner Clean and sanitize microwave ovens and refrigerators.
Clean and wipe vending machines.
Clean air ducts.
High and Low Cleaning.
Set up for all events at location.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to push, pull, bend, lift, stand, kneel and reach arms above head. Must be able to maneuver or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is for the most part performed in an indoor climate of average daily seasonal temperatures. Outside work is subject to varying seasonal temperature Employee may be exposed to odors, chemicals, product spills, dust, loosened wax or water.
