Consideration will be given to Raritan, NJ, New Brunswick, NJ. Remote locations within the United States may also be considered.

The Data Science Program Manager, will be responsible for Program and Project Management for the JRD Data Science organization as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities:

The Data Science Program Manager will:

• Oversee, coordinate and track science and technology projects across the Data Science organization
• Act as a contact point between Janssen IT partners and the Janssen Data Science project teams
• Collaborate across teams within the Program Management & Platform Operations teams to operationalize and productionalize tools, systems and technologies
• Contribute to the development of standardized processes and procedures for Data Science operations
• Evaluate ongoing and upcoming projects, programs to minimize duplication and leverage concurrent work
• Coordinate relationships with other Janssen organizations (TAs, IDAR, Quant Sciences, etc.)
• Manage and coordinate vendor relationships for specific projects
• Manage and develop stakeholders and other partners as assigned.
• Consistently demonstrate knowledge seeking and sharing behaviors across organizational boundaries in the performance of daily work and encourage junior associates to do the same.
• Ability to develop roadmaps for projects that are assigned.
• Drive program and project management activities for assigned projects; schedule meetings, take minutes, develop project plan, maintain RAID log, track scheduled activities, etc.
• Act as a passionate change agent with the ability to manage complexity as the organizations deliver on many parallel initiatives in this space.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s Degree is preferred
• Four years of experience is required.
• Life science Industry experience is required
• PMP, SCRUM certification is preferred
• Experience with Atlassian Tools such as JIRA, Confluence is preferred
• Procurement and Vendor management experience is preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong negotiating skills, and the ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with exceptional service orientation are all requirements for this position.

Travel Requirements: 5-10% (Domestic)
