Job Description

The Builder Options Auditor works as part of a team supporting the new home sales and design process for a variety of local and national new Home Builders. An Auditor receives Option data from the Builder’s purchasing team, analyzes the data, updates Option/Product information and maintains current pricing in a system called Envision. The Envision software program is a visual sales tool used by prospective and contracted home buyers, sales agents and designers during new home purchase process. Envision was designed to provide an at home shopping experience that helps new home buyers understand their interior design Option choices for the home that they have just purchased and prepare for their custom Design appointment. The primary responsibility of a Builder Options Auditor is to accurately present Product information, current pricing and interior design ideas through the Envision web site that best represents each Builder’s unique characteristics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with a variety of local and national New Home Builders Purchasing departments by receiving data updates that will include new options, changes in options, and pricing.
  • Audit and resolve errors or questions in data received by communicating with the Builders Purchasing Team.
  • Create and modify spreadsheets, translate information in Excel and CSV files as required by Option Management systems.
  • Provide service and support to the Design Center Teams; frequently review the Options Department group inbox that receives incoming emails. Investigate issues that may include assisting with file set up, pricing questions, Envision system errors, etc., all done in timely manner.
  • Assist in Projects for onboarding of Builders onto the Envision system, this includes receiving, analyzing and loading option information, product skus, product images, and buyer friendly detail to best represent the Builder.
  • Support fellow team members as back up with fluctuating work load.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS: The position involves a strong understanding of the following:

  • Data management through the use of MS Excel is a must.
  • Home Building/Design Center Interior finishes product knowledge.
  • Capable of building valuable working relationships with professional customer communication.
  • Ability to analyze, recognize errors and to ask effective questions.
  • Comfort level to multitask between unique processes that each builder requires of our team.
  • ISI’s Home Design System software (not required/willing to train)
  • The Envision Option Management software (not required/willing to train)

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Customer Service
  • Data Entry
  • Experience working with Production Home Builder environment preferred but not required
