Responsibilities:
- Set-up the AWS Data Exchange Data Discovery Desk, including operational processes and procedures.
- Own and manage a queue of incoming data requests from external customers and internal personnel
- Own communication for all incoming requests and proactively respond with a range of data product recommendations
- Become a catalog expert and be able to develop a wide-range of knowledge regarding available data products
- Develop, maintain, and optimize processes to capture incoming data requests from customers
- Communicate and collaborate with other internal teams to ensure AWS Data Exchange Data Discovery Desk is appropriately integrated in wider AWS Data Exchange operating models
- Create best practices guides and work with Product Management to enhance the AWS Data Exchange User Guide
- Use data requests to derive insights regarding data needs and work across the AWS Data Exchange BD teams to adjust strategies based on insights
- Work directly with Customer Support to ensure that customer issues are resolved as expediently as possible
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to define metrics to measure and drive success

There will be opportunities to work from home some days, as travel can be up to 50% to meet with customers, prospects, partners, account teams. Work hours can be flexible and typically self-defined. Preferred locations for this role are New York, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, or London. However, virtual or other locations in similar time zones will be considered depending on candidate experience and relative location to key stakeholders.
