NECO is a rapidly growing company servicing local government and private water Utilities in the Advanced Meter Reading Systems industry. NECO offers a wide array of products and services, including water meters, installation services, hardware repair, meter reading software, technical support, data analytics and data hosting to optimize water conservation and revenue generation.
Position Summary
NECO is seeking a Data Auditor in its Cincinnati office. This position manages work order data from multiple projects in remote areas. Daily tasks include work order data scrubbing, quality control audits, inventory control and communication with on-site management. Data analysis is also required, as it is important to understand the information being audited as well as the processes required to ensure accurate data from our Field Division projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Audit of work orders received from Field Division Personnel
Audit of work order photos received within the work order, verifying data accuracy
Reporting data omissions and errors
Progress report generation
Other reports and process as directed
Secondary Responsibilities
Answer phones in the field Service Call Center, scheduling appointments
Remote Work
At some point, depending on the candidates ability to work unsupervised, performance of the job from a location will be possible on some days,
Experience and Educational Requirements
A college degree is preferred, but experience with data entry and data analysis is critical.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements
Basic technical knowledge of personal computer systems and peripherals.
Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs.
Thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and database software SQL or Access)
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Strong critical thinking skills. We need someone who can analyze the data and understand the implications it has on the overall evaluation of project success.
Strong customer service and communication skills and attention to detail.
