Job Description:

The Data and Privacy Consultant will be responsible for executing Data and Privacy projects, as a project or team lead to ensure high-quality delivery. This position will work directly with their project leads, managers, and/or executives to communicate business and technical aspects of the work being performed.
The Data and Privacy Consultant will perform the following responsibilities:



  • Conduct Data and Privacy Projects.
  • Evaluate and/or implement solutions and controls to ensure data security and integrity for our clients.
  • Prepare reports or other necessary documentation to detail results of evaluation and otherwise meet the objectives of the project.
  • Submit recommendations to client for corrective action or to support a recommend approach to solving the client's needs.
  • Participate in planning and implementing of client information systems, including structure, process, and security.
  • Participates in strategic and tactical objectives to include new product offerings, identify additional client needs, and generating new business leads.
  • Support development of proposals and presentations for clients and prospects
  • Correspond with a variety of clients and communicate security issues, recommendations, and deliverables effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of business experience in the areas of Data Management or Privacy/Security, or an appropriate combination of business experience and relevant advanced training
  • Certified Information Privacy Professionals (CIPP) or willingness to obtain similar certification
  • Experience within consulting or professional services, or within a leading industry: public companies is preferred.
  • Prior experience supervising or coaching junior level resources in the areas of Privacy and/or Information Security
  • Knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations such as the Health Information Privacy and Accountability Act, the General Data Protection Regulation, or other similar national/regional laws or regulations
  • Writing and interpersonal communication skills are expected to be of a high quality.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently is a must.
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more annually.
