OVERVIEW

This position focuses on producing analytical solutions (reports, dashboards etc.) for leadership across the organization to support business initiatives. The Data Analyst/Web Developer provides consultation and support in the development, analysis, interpretation and management of a variety of routine to minimally complex data sources. Ideal candidate will have experience of designing front-end user facing side of applications, and also back-end program logic and database interaction. You will work directly with a collaborative team of financial experts with developed tools already being used.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Collaborates with corporate and branch managers to design, create, test and implement analytic tools such as; databases, reports, web applications, dashboards, etc.

· Creates reports that answer a specific question. Reports include basic graphs, output lists of data, and basic use of parameters and the technical ability to modify project/dashboard created by other analysts and adapt them for their own use.

· Demonstrate basic or routine level SQL and data extraction skills. (i.e. Uses predefined scripts, changes parameters and query like MS Access, tools and drag drop query creation capability, and Excel cubes)

· Shares important and relevant information with the team. Proactively offers suggestions, provides resources, volunteers for assignments, and removes barriers to help the team accomplish its goals.

· Develop front-end website architecture.

· Develop back-end website architecture.

· Basic database functionality.

· Work alongside graphic designers for web design features.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, information systems or equivalent experience as an Data Analyst.

· Working knowledge of mortgage processes and workflow preferred.

· Experience working with clients, vendors and third party systems is required.

· Exhibit superior problem-solving attributes.

· Demonstrated experience in the developing, analyzing, interpreting, and managing various data sets.

· Demonstrated experience using word processing, spreadsheets, database, internet and email, and scheduling applications.

· Demonstrated experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLookups, etc.)

· Proficiency with SQL queries and design.

· Experience in ASP.NET and/or Blazor server preferred.

· Experience with Tableau, Power Bi and the Excel Reporting.

· Possesses strong intellectual curiosity with a willingness to learn new technologies and develop new ideas.

· Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to make sound decisions.
