    Job Title: Data Analyst - Financial Reporting Data Steward -SISW-261077

    Reporting to the Finance Director of Performance Reporting, this position will support the financial reporting needs of the Siemens Digital Industries Software business unit. This position responsibilities include managing data assets and ensuring trusted data quality across Finance and the enterprise reporting environment.

    The Performance Reporting organization serves as a strategic partner to Siemens Digital Industries Software enabling efforts to drive Growth and Profitability by providing excellence in performance reporting and business insight.

    • Support a strong financial reporting infrastructure of global systems and processes involving all aspects of information management and technology for the organization
    • Maintain master data and related reporting hierarchies specific to the business unit financial and management reporting
    • Implement controls and processes to mitigate data quality risks including monitoring data quality results, reports and dashboards
    • Provide transparency to master data and reporting hierarchies via dashboards
    • Create and support data quality analysis and automation using tools like Alteryx or KNIME
    • Partner with technical teams on systems and data structures
    • Responsible for assuring quality and trust in the data, supporting standard definitions for the organization to follow, and maintaining a consistent use of data resources across the organization
    • Assist with major data and organizational changes that impact reporting structures
    • Provide guidance and assistance to the finance organization on data governance processes
    • 4-6+ years related business experience
    • Experience with metadata, master data, reference data, and data management systems
    • Passion for data accuracy and support governance and consistency
    • Understand of relational databases and hierarchical data schemes
    • Knowledge of the impacts of master data and reporting hierarchies within a complex management reporting ecosystem
    • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Alteryx, KNIME, Tableau & Qlikview
    • Ability to write, read and interpret SQL for report and dashboard development
    • Knowledge of master data maintenance in SAP and Data Relationship Management tools
    • Familiarity with SAP ERP modules FI and CO and experience with related master data
    • Well-versed in the business uses of financial data, business terms, and the data elements related to financial transactions
    • Quick Learner – business systems, data intersections, reporting, organizational structure
    • Perceptive of up and down stream impacts
    • Professional and customer focused with developed project, organization and time management skills
    • Self-starter who prioritizes multiple projects with competing deadlines and is motivated to promote change
    • Process driven; detailed, transactional, efficient, effective
    • Master Data, Governance or Business Intelligence certifications or related experience
