Rancho Springs Medical Center A 120 bed acute care hospital which includes the region’s largest birthing center along with the area’s only NICU in combination with Rady Children’s Hospital and the region’s first da Vinci Robotic Surgical Program.

Ø Knowledge of preparing and maintaining a sterile field. Ø Knowledge of instrumentation and supplies necessary for specialty surgical procedures. Ø Basic communication skills, problem solving techniques and professional interpersonal relations skills.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Ø Minimum of two (2) years recent operating room experience as a Surgical Tech. Ø Minimum of two (2) years’ experience scrubbing for cardio-thoracic/coronary artery bypass surgery.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Ø High school graduate or equivalent preferred Ø Graduated from an accredited Operating Room Technician Program
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Ø National Surgical Technician certification, recommended Ø Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ø High volume, fast paced. Ø Subject to many interruptions. Ø Subject to irregular hours. Ø Fluctuating temperatures and noise levels.
