VitalSource®, an Ingram Content Group (ICG) company is hiring for a Customer Success Manager to contribute to our Enterprise Customer Success team in Raleigh, NC. As a Customer Success Manager, you will support Institutions in the Higher Education market as their trusted advisor to ensure they are using all of the key features in VitalSource platforms, drive solutions across platforms and provide best practices to maximize the student experience. You will also be responsible for relationship management, overall client satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities to pass to our sales partners. Someone that enjoys working with customers directly, using their critical thinking and technical skills, digging into data, and creating solutions across products, will excel in this role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or directly related year for year experience
  • 3 years account management, project management or customer success experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience in relationship management
  • Experience presenting to clients in person and remotely
  • Experience training clients
  • Experience with Course Materials in a College Store

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary day-to-day point of communication between the clients and VitalSource; communicate and advocate individual client needs to internal stakeholders
  • Assist with the setup and administration of software tools to ensure clients meet strategic goals
  • Develop and implement success plans to lead clients through a strategic customer journey
  • Coordinate resources within VitalSource as appropriate to meet the client’s needs; work productively across functions with all internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product and Development
  • Ensure all aspects of client engagement and contractual obligations are executed successfully
  • Evaluate and monitor the overall client health and success and share this information and customer insights with internal stakeholders
  • Escalate at risk clients appropriately.
  • Provide opportunity leads to the sales team; this can be revenue growth or additional business lines
  • Identify processes improvements that would benefit both clients and internal stakeholders.
