This position is responsible for providing a variety of clerical, secretarial, and receptionist duties. These duties include, but are not limited to, (1) answering the phone in a courteous and helpful manner and greeting clients and families, (2) completing financial reviews and knowledge of insurance, (3) entering documents in the electronic health record, (4) completing reports and providing productivity measures in a timely manner, (5) scheduling appointments, (6) checking in persons virtually or in the clinic and (7) processing payment plans, co-pays. This position must have the ability to work at various workstations and interact in a professional way with a variety of agencies and individuals. Provide assistance with special projects as assigned by the Regional Center Director/ Office Manager to include: safety and risk areas in the clinic setting, preparation for audits or surveys. This staff will assist to coordinate provider appointments, manage schedules, and resolve appointments, appointment call reminders, and assisting persons in services. Will work in collaboration with the medical and clinical teams in each location in Round Rock, Jarrell, and Taylor.

Credentials Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalency; knowledge of Excel and Word, record keeping, good organizational skills. Ability to organize workspace and activities using initiative, follow oral and written instructions; must be able to learn how to input information into an electronic health record; ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment; must be able to work with clients, families and staff utilizing tact and diplomacy; must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the adult, child/youth, crisis, intake and respite units and contractors. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications: At least one-year experience in a medical or hospital setting, bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Knowledge of insurance company processes.
