Job Description

REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Customer Service Representative to join the HornerXpress team in Port St. Lucie, FL. The right candidate for this role will be a team player who enjoys working with customers and teammates to place orders, answer customer questions and resolve issues. Excellent data entry and problem-solving skills are required. This is a ‘floating’ position which requires working at the other branches in the area as needed, i.e., Riviera Beach, Vero Beach and Stuart.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by telephone, email and in person.
  • Contact customers and advise them of upcoming events, new products and other business-related matters
  • Accurately take and enter orders and price quotes into FACTS program
  • Pull orders quickly and correctly
  • Help drivers and check out trucks
  • Maintain accurate records of special orders and back orders
  • Accurately complete credit forms
  • Run customer reports
  • Process returns
  • Communicate needs of products, supplies and other necessities to appropriate department managers
  • Maintain sufficient stock of all office supplies necessary to complete daily tasks without interruption
  • Recognize parts and products without written descriptions and part numbers
  • File and maintain accurate department records
  • Keep work area clean and organized at all times

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Customer Service experience required

  • Excellent problem-solving and people skills required
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Pool industry experience a plus
