Job Description

Thriveworks is a national outpatient behavioral health company. We pair clients with the best therapists throughout the country to help them live happy and successful lives.

Compensation: $16.50/hr

Job Description:

  • Receive high volume on inbound calls for new and existing clients
  • Help clients find the best therapist for their needs
  • Ability to document proficiently in fast paced environment on different technical applications
  • Provide detailed information on all of Thriveworks services and other related inquiries
  • Direct calls to appropriate departments for further resolution
  • Enroll new clients in a Thriveworks membership by selling and explaining benefits
  • Monitor payments entered into EHR system by counselors and independently resolve issues that arise
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information (Adhere to HIPPA laws
  • Current shifts available are:
    • M-F 1230pm -930pm EST
    • Sat- Wed /Sat Shift being 9-6pm and Sun - Wed 8-5pm EST

Required:

  • A firm grasp of web-based billing software or Electronic Health Records
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Some sales experience along with a competitive personality
  • Professional acumen through action and communication
  • Must be able to learn new concepts and processes quickly
  • An above average aptitude with internet/computer use
  • Energetic, with a positive attitude
  • True and patient problem solving skills
  • Must be very detail oriented
  • Self-driven attitude and ability to work well independently
  • Solid work history and transferable skills
  • Experience in high-pressure environments
  • A commitment to changing schedules outside normal work hours, including weekends

Preferred:

  • Healthcare experience
    • Bachelor's degree preferred or will take equivalent work experience
    • Experience with Chat functions
  • 1-2 years Experience with medical billing, preferred in the mental health
  • Experience with billing and claims follow up
