SteadPoint Group is a local insurance company that handles workers compensation insurance. We are very excited about the growth of our company and looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our family! The primary job responsibility is answering customer requests by phone or email in a prompt and courteous manner. You must be able to analyze an account and discuss it with the insured or agent. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Problem-solving comes naturally to customer care specialists. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer inquiries by phone or email
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and document pertinent information
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives; follow up to ensure resolution
- Apply payments to policies and prepare daily deposit
- Print and mail out invoices and cancellations
- Other job duties as requested
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Track record of over-achieving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Analytical skills
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour
