Operations Manager

Represent the company as a customer service representative and provide best in class service to meet the customer needs. Process and maintain all orders required to support the sale of products sold by the J.M. Smucker Co. Manage orders to meet the needs of both our internal and external end users, this includes processing, pick package, and shipping.

• Communicate to the customers and field of all order statuses (via the phone and/or systems)

• Discuss coffee equipment/parts/inventory levels with both internal field technicians and with external grocery customers

• Process, receive, and ship all types of orders

• Maintain and provide documented authorization

• Track and document the status of each order

• Support and work within all company policies and systems

• Participate in and lead LEAN manufacturing activities as needed

• Follow all Company safety practices and guidelines

• Demonstrates a behavior which is appropriate and professional in the work environment

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

Experience

• Experience in customer service or another field related to this position is required

• Basic computer skills/data entry (including Microsoft Word & Excel) is a must

Other

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Oracle experience is a plus

• Ability to accurately follow instructions and document work

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Understanding of beverage dispensing systems is a plus

• Knowledge of product/safety liabilities is a plus

• Ability to build rapport with clients

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Ability to work overtime, if needed
