FarmChem Corp is headquartered in Floyd, Iowa and sells handling equipment for chemical, seed, and energy products. FarmChem also manufactures custom products to meet customer specific needs and provides tank level monitoring systems for liquid inventory tracking and product management.

General Description:

This position is responsible to ensure the customer service experience at FarmChem is industry leading, starting with order placement, and following through technical assistance, returns, and post-sale support.

Essential Functions:

• Define and oversee the customer experience for orders placed over the phone, Internet, email, and sales counter.
• Keep informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.
• Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of servicing existing customers and attaining new accounts.
• Work with marketing to assist with and keep current promotional materials, printed catalog, online materials, and social media releases.
• Ensure pricing strategies are implemented and followed.
• Oversee the process of inventory forecasting
• Work with business to determine inventory levels and work with purchasing on strategic purchasing.
• Continue to grow new vendor relationships and maintain current ones.
• Manage and maintain departmental staffing as needed in conjunction with H.R.
• Develop and train staff reports, insure personal development continuation.
• Manage and approve timecards and overtime as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Travel/Location:

This position requires less than 5% travel. Relocation required to Floyd, Iowa Corporate office.

Compensation:

Base salary range $80,000 - $110,000. Remaining compensation based on performance objectives determined annually.
