eSentire is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to the
VP of Digital Marketing, this role will lead a team to build stronger relationships with customers through engaging marketing campaigns. Their mission is to build a community of fanatic brand advocates. This position directly benefits sales and marketing teams by increasing customer advocacy (including referrals, testimonials, references, etc.), identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities to support revenue growth, and increasing loyalty and retention. This position requires creative marketing and communication skills to engage and motivate customer advocates.
Strategic responsibilities
  • Build rapport with sales reps, customer success managers, and customers to increase renewals, referrals, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events, customer advisory boards, annual conferences, awards programs, and ongoing nurture campaigns
  • Connecting with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle
  • Identifying key customers that can act as a marketing channel through case studies, speaking opportunities, etc.
  • Help sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
  • Manage a team, perform strategic planning and budgeting
Tactical responsibilities
  • Compose and send customer communications, newsletters, and email campaigns
  • Manage and maintain engagement and advocacy programs; continually recruit new customer advocates
  • Manage a library of up-to-date customer success stories, testimonials and referrals
  • Perform annual/biannual/quarterly customer satisfaction surveys
  • Develop a customer lifecycle campaign program and work with marketing operations to implement required marketing tools and tracking effectiveness in Salesforce
  • Create special marketing content for account management/customer success to help at-risk customers with training
  • Target customers for upsell, cross-sell, and advocacy opportunities
  • Track product feedback from advocates and work across teams to address
What the Campaign Manager will need to be successful in this role
  • Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, and business
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in marketing programs/demand gen in B2B technology, preferably cyber security experience
  • Previous Customer Service, Customer Success, or Account Management experience
  • Technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and channels, including Salesforce and marketing automation platforms like Pardot and SalesLoft
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy
  • Ability to write effective copy is a necessity
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes
  • Demonstrated skill in managing timelines, budgets and multiple vendors
  • Strong ability to prioritize work in a demanding, fast-paced environment while managing multiple programs/tactics at one time
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint
