About this opportunity

As the Customer Experience Center Specialist, you will be a key member of the team responsible for our state of the art Customer Experience Center. This is a highly visible position with both internal and external customers. You will provide support in the center on a daily operational basis for Align University and for all visitors, guests, trainings, and special events.


In this role, you will…
  • Partner with leadership regarding the Customer Experience Center, including but not limited to scheduling and logistics, visitor access, meet and greet, and execution of CEC programs
  • Develop and maintain events calendar for the center
  • Work with the Sr. Manager in being a resource of information regarding Align University and the Customer Experience Center including, but not limited to how to schedule an event
  • Act as expert in the capabilities the center offers and recommend ideas and options to interested stakeholders working cross functionally based on best practices
  • Ensure a best in class experience is delivered for all center engagements for both internal and external visitors
  • Own and execute the process for set up and tear down process for each event including staging, technology, room configuration, catering, etc.
  • On-site management of all logistics for duration of assigned events
  • Learn and maintain working knowledge of the technology of the center and create escalation pathways for troubleshooting to support the team and ensure quick resolution of any issues
  • Support Sr. Manager and local facilities team on any building or space related issues
  • Lead and manage special events as needed, including after normal business hours
  • Conduct post-meeting surveys, debriefs and reports as needed
  • Other projects and tasks regarding the CEC as assigned
In this role, you’ll need …
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; communications, marketing, or hospitality focus preferred
  • 2+ years of customer-facing work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent work ethic, integrity, professionalism, and a sense of humor.
  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office software application.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented, able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Able to maintain the confidentiality of all business matters
  • Able to demonstrate proactive customer service
  • Demonstrably strong technical acumen
  • Experience in a fast paced and action- oriented environment to accommodate for last minute changes and customer requests
