job purpose: The Customer Commercial Manager will support thought leadership and strategic partnering with the National Retail Sales team and our valued retail, foodservice, and on-premise customers. This energetic and intellectually curious individual will help drive the customer commercial go-to-market strategy for fairlife’s entire portfolio of dairy based nutrition brands. The ideal candidate understands that true value creation, both for our customers and the company, is built upon a long-term, shared vision of growth that is grounded in consumer and shopper needs/occasions and informed by leading edge category and channel insights. This individual will work seamlessly across multiple functions within fairlife and the Coca-Cola System to deliver Collaborative Business Plans and strategic selling plans that deliver long-term, profitable growth for the company and our most valued retail, foodservice, and on-premise customers.


responsibilities:

  • Supports development of commercial strategy for fairlife’s full portfolio of brands working with our most valued retail, foodservice, and on premise customers
  • Partner with the NRS leadership team, Zone key accounts and commercial teams, and key foodservice and on premise customer and commercial leaders to develop consumer centric, insights driven, customer-specific selling stories
  • Support business planning and strategic meetings by providing analytic and commercial support to the sales team
  • Build customer segmentation by category and channel to guide long range customer opportunities
  • Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to integrate retail e-comm, RDI and foodservice digital (app based) as part of the annual and long-term customer business plans
  • Work seamlessly across multiple internal and external functions including Business Intelligence, Brand, Commercial, Revenue Growth, Shopper Marketing and Category Strategic Advisory
  • Efficiently prioritize time across all customers/channels to ensure the fairlife brands’ category selling stories are flawlessly executed, on time, for each respective customer and buyer
  • Deliver against annual and long-term KPI’s including base brand acceleration, successful innovation sell-in and expansion, and achieving revenue and profit growth targets
  • Leverage Nielsen, Numerator, retailer shopper data, NPD Crest, and proprietary Coca-Cola tools and research to develop best in class insights and selling stories
  • Work collaboratively with the cross functional team to support customer-based special projects such as innovation, packaging, research, marketing, etc.
  • Support the fairlife Director of Customer Commercialization and the Director of FSOP Strategy and Commercial


skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing required; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Category Advisory, or Strategy in a CPG company
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional groups
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities utilizing Nielsen, IRI, NPD Crest, customer shopper data or similar programs
  • Proficient in data-driven storytelling
  • Experience with both retail and foodservice customers/landscape
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic frameworks for an organization
  • Ability to take programs from concept to execution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management experience
  • High proficiency with all Microsoft Office platforms
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
