Job Summary:This role is to oversee a portfolio of key customers/geographies, develop new business from existing clients and provide excellent customer service to every customer. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers and connecting with sales leaders to ensure achievement of the sales plan while managing the margins that impact EBITA.Description
- Leads business development at key customers or in key geographies
- Strong driver of customer agenda
- Responsible for all aspects of customer development including opportunity identification, relationship management, broker management, customer service interface
- Partner with internal cross functional teams i.e. Analytics and Insights, Brand Teams/Integrated Marketing, Customer Planning and Strategy and Trade Development to develop collaborative programs to drive brand and customer strategies
- Develops and delivers strategic selling, assortment, promotion, pricing plans
- Leads Joint Business Planning where applicable
- Identifies category selling opportunities and delivers category based selling stories
- Manages complex and multiple brokers across different brands
- Leverages forecasting and planning tools, analytics, insights and KPI reports
Experience
- Strong forecasting skills
- Experienced negotiator
- Role based in Boston, MA or East Coast
- Travel Required 25% of the time
- 5 Years of Minimum Experience
- 7 Years of Maximum Experience
- Relevant CPG Sales and Customer Experience
