Custodian

In general, Maintenance employees handle the overall appearance of the facility as well as maintain all equipment. Maintenance employees will perform additional duties as assigned as well.

• Check maintenance schedule for special projects for the day
• Sweep all entrances and exits and pick up any trash
• Walk the facilities picking up trash, checking for burned out lights, record any repair or maintenance problems, empty full trash cans, and report illegal parkers and ticket if necessary
• May require painting of poles, walls, machines, curbs, lanes and other requests
• Clean all restrooms in facilities and all stairwells
• Maintain any other equipment on facilities
• Clean all oil/water spots as needed
• Sweep garages regularly
• Check all ticket spitters and gates to ensure that they are working properly and are properly stocked with tickets and the correct time is on equipment.
• Ensure that all machines are kept clean and wiped down from dirt.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year prior experience
• Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
• Basic carpentry, painting and grounds keeping skills
• Skill and Ability to effectively use a variety of hand and power tools
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships
• Willingness to work outside (if necessary) in inclement weather
