This position is located at Ivy Physical Fitness Center.

Responsibilities
  • Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and common areas.
  • Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using brooms, mops, lightweight equipment such as vacuum cleaners and lightweight floor scrubbers, waxers, and buffers.
  • Dusts waxes and polishes furniture and fixtures. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes bathroom and toilet facilities. Empties trash.
  • Washes mirrors, walls, windows, and blinds. Provides and replenishes toiletries and room condiments.
  • Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies and condiments to perform assigned duties.

    • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
    • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
    • A one year probationary period may be required.
    • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
    • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
    • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
    • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
    • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
    • Pre-employment physical is required.
    QualificationsApplicant must be able to follow simple oral instructions and use hand or light weight powered cleaning tools and equipment as described which generally require no prior training or previous work experience.

    Must have the ability to follow instructions and read signs. Must have a basic knowledge of common cleaning solvents,
    cleaning tools, and equipment. Must be able to remove different kinds of stains from a wide variety of surfaces. Must be able to troubleshoot, make adjustments, and perform minor repair and maintenance of equipment. Education

    This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
