Who You Are:
You’re a highly organized and motivated individual. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can multitask effectively. You’re able to work with sales peers globally to meet our customers’ needs related to credit requests and vendor form completion. You are confident in making decisions within guidelines, and be able to provide justification for credit decisions. Because of your exceptional communication and collaboration skills, you’re often the go-to person for both your peers and business partners when credit expertise is required. You are able to provide negative decisions while maintaining customer relationships. As the ideal candidate we require finance experience. This position reports to the Credit & Collections Manager.
Your Next Challenge:
This position is responsible for completing credit requests, provide credit terms, and approve credit limits, in support of sales. Review approved credit limits across hierarchy accounts in support of risk management. Give guidance and/or training to sales in support of completing all credit requests. Completion of Vendor forms and trade requests from customers.
Maintain SLA's (service level agreements) for credit requests Makes credit decisions based on credit reports, sales hierarchy, and customer history, in support of sales revenue provides strong customer service, communication, with sales and customers in regards to credit Create and provide credit reports identifying customers beyond their credit limits, or nearing their credit limits. This enables credit to proactively assess and apply credit increases, in support of sales goals. Performs various routine duties such as responding to e-mail requests from sales, outside collection agency requests, customer e-mails, and running weekly aging reports. Create, update and maintain credit process documentation; based on sales creating request, & sales training; finance credit specialists completing the requests. Collaborate with internal partners, accounts receivable, sales, review processes, implement enhancements, in connection with credit processes. Assignment of collection activities or special projects in support of team collection goals.
What You’ll Need:
Minimum of 1 to 2 years relevant experience in this field Knowledge of commercial credit and experience making credit decisions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Critical Thinking Problem -Solving Strong attention to detail Initiative Proficient with Microsoft Office; Outlook; Excel; OneNote; Word Familiar with the following programs: crm, SalesForce, Oracle
Education and CertificationsEducation in Accounting preferred or relevant work experience
