Role:
In-house creative department is seeking a full-time skilled Traffic Coordinator. Responsible for assisting traffic the workflow of print, digital, animation, and video projects throughout the creative services team.
The successful candidate will be able to clearly and effectively communicate, multi-task, manage high volume of emails and tasks, work with urgency, and use good judgment to prioritize.
The candidate will also have great attention to detail and adaptability while considering the big picture, have strong organization skills and have the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice all with a diplomatic touch. The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization is critical.
In a nutshell, the Traffic Coordinator must be extremely organized, methodical and detail oriented. They are excellent communicators of concise, accurate deadline-driven information. They must understand people and should know instinctively when something is needed in order to keep the team on track.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively intake project requests by interpreting requestor’s needs and clearly understanding their objective. Inquire and gather necessary details to launch and assign creative projects to team members
Capture, update and maintain all projects in project management system
Coordinate with other internal departments including high-level executives
Develop and maintain production schedules for projects keeping them on track for delivery
Track, manage, and QC project revisions and deadlines while keeping all key stakeholders informed as to project status
Work with internal partners to ensure that their needs are met with all projects
Initiate and produce project reports, as appropriate, for any or all functions
Support and coordinate team functions and other department duties
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication or advertising preferred
Three or more years of experience supporting a creative team
Ability to think analytically, holistically, and creatively
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
Can handle and follow instructions well
Excellent customer service and is flexible and adaptable to all scenarios, while understanding client etiquette and company culture
Experience with project management system and SharePoint a plus
Understanding reporting on time spent, expenses, client reporting, tasks and timelines
Strong understanding of creative process and workflow
Understanding of design fundamentals and basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
In-depth knowledge of the creative development process
Must be highly organized and thorough with a strong attention to detail
Ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timely responses to team needs
