OBJECTIVE:
As a member of Lone Star Circle of Care’s (LSCC)’s COVID Vaccine Team, manages ordering, coordinates distribution and completes required reporting for the COVID-19 vaccine. Works closely with the Quality and Operations Teams to ensure vaccines are ordered and distributed appropriately. Collaborate with stakeholders in ordering first and second dose vaccines at appropriate intervals. Performs general administrative duties to support the Team.
Responsibilities:- Places orders for first and second dose COVID-19 vaccine according to doses given at each site.
- Completes required reporting to various stakeholders and agencies.
- Assists in development of schedule for vaccine clinics.
- Tracks individuals due for second dose of vaccine and assists with notification.
- Participate in activities associated with performance improvement, quality initiatives, The Joint Commission, and the Health Resources and Services Administration.
- Compose or complete forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communication as required. Route written communication as appropriate.
- Communicate in person, virtually, via telephone and by email.
- Demonstrate competency in applicable computerized systems utilized in ordering, distribution and reporting of administering the program.
- Attend required meetings and in-service trainings.
- Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting work schedule as needed to respond to vaccine availability occasional service provision on evenings and weekends.
- Assist with patient data entry to ImmTrac.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSE:
- Prior medical office and/or healthcare setting experience
- Prior data collection and reporting experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish language skills
