Job Description

Kona Cafe Hawaiian Barbecue is seeking friendly outgoing dependable people who will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, operating POS system, and preparing food in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service, sense of humor, good attitude, as well as the ability to have more than just one speed as there are slow times and crazy busy times.in the same day. Must work weekends, start time will be either 11 am or 2 pm, ending times are 8:15-8:30 pm (when the work is done), earlier when we sell out. Work is pretty evenly split between FOH and BOH. No drama please. We have been reliably open and very busy throughout covid.

Must be a self motivated multi-tasking individual, able to work without constantly being told what to do. Must have reliable transportation and at least 12 months of restaurant experience. Restaurant is open everyday from 11 am to 8 pm.

Pay on paycheck starts at $12 per hour, tips after training can make it up to $24-28 per hour, more when helping with catering. Daily tips paid, weekly Friday paychecks. Applications are available to fill out, avoid busy times. No phone calls please. We try to be as casual as possible while staying true to quality and consistency while being very busy.

We are also looking to add to our cooking team, start time is usually 6am, you work unsupervised and no cooking to order, usually done by 1-2pm

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
