Counterintelligence Agent (ENTRY LEVEL)

Overview:

The Counterintelligence (CI) Agent conducts investigations to detect and counter terrorist threats. The agent identifies and counters activities of any foreign adversary that poses a threat to Army forces. The agent also provides counter intelligence reports, estimates, threat assessments and vulnerability assessments

Job Duties:

• Provide CI assistance
• Exploit/neutralize intelligence threats
• Write CI reports and plans
• Assist in management of all military CI collection

Position requirements:

• Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
• Full medical physical (Paid For)
• Enlist into the United States Army
• Attend Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (job training)-Paid

Basic Qualifications:

• Age - 17 to 40 years old
• Education - Current Senior in High School(HS), HS Diploma, GED or higher
• Citizenship - U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
• Submit to background and medical screening

Training:

• 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training
• 18 weeks of Advanced Individual Training

The skills you learn will help prepare you for a career in research, business planning and even government agencies such as the Central Intelligence Agency.
