Reports To: CHRO
SUMMARY:
The Safety Professional will be responsible for the overall
administration of safety, OSHA and worker compensation programs, workplace
accident protection programs, and maintaining full compliance with company, and
state/federal safety policies and regulations. Responsibilities will include
all aspects of development, implementation, and monitoring of these programs.
This position will focus on leading the Company in the areas of safety
awareness and accident prevention. A strong emphasis will be placed on building
and maintaining a safety culture by providing on-going and consistent
communication, training and visibility to safe work practices. The ultimate
focus and priority of the Safety Manager is to ensure that CJK improves
performance in the areas of reducing employee accidents and reducing worker
compensation injury claim expenses. The Safety Manager acts as the key business
partner to the operations and maintenance areas of the company, ensuring that each
manager is aware of accident prevention and compliance opportunities for their
location.
