Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Develops and leads non-credit academic certificate programs in the following areas of expertise: Professional Development, Hiring for Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity, Business Writing, Business Management, Business Communication, and Full Stack Software Developer.

Responsibilities
  • Provides quality and relevant instruction and course curriculum design
  • Ensures student mastery of learning outcomes by providing continual feedback and various methods of assessment measurements
  • Plans, organizes, develops, and conducts a comprehensive instructional course for students enrolled
  • Teaches students learning strategies
  • Conducts teaching and instructional activities using educational equipment, manipulatives, props, and other learning aids
  • Responsible for preparing and submitting a course syllabus prior to the start of the class
  • Assists with the planning, instruction, and evaluation of tutoring and problem-solving activities
  • Completes paperwork associated with classroom and project management
  • Reports student learning and behavioral issues to the appropriate staff personnel

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Required Experience
Five (5) years of experience working in the specified field of study including experience with instructing relevant program content, classroom management, adult learning, and/or effective communication/facilitation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
Prior teaching experience preferred

ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one-time meeting assigned deadlines

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
