SUMMARY:
Corporate Paralegal
Terran Orbital Corporation is seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team in our Boca Raton, FL location. The Paralegal will report directly to the General Counsel and provide support on corporate law, employment, contracts, regulatory and other matters. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and fun team at a fast-growing company worldwide provider of nanosatellite and microsatellite vehicles, services, and solutions to commercial and government customers.
Specific tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the General Counsel on corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Maintain and track corporate registrations and related filings as well as ensure corporate documents are prepared, timely filed and kept current.
- Assist the General Counsel in drafting Board documents, including minutes, resolutions, and written consents.
- Apply for, obtain, and maintain compliance for a variety of regulatory licenses.
- Support investigations and litigation.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree from Accredited college or university or equivalent
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience
- Flexible and willing to learn
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding word processing skills
- Committed to fostering teamwork and a fun working environment
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of paralegal experience at a law firm or in a corporate environment
- Experience taking minutes and drafting Board governance documents
- To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
