We are Toniiq, a rapidly growing global e-commerce nutritional supplement scale-up, founded in the US and fully distributed across the globe. We have an exciting opportunity to join our management team and are actively seeking a Corporate Financial Controller.
The appointed candidate will be an active, hands-on team member who will report directly to the COO and be a true business partner as the company continues to expand its scope and revenues.
As our Corporate / Financial Controller, you will be actively involved in managing the day-to-day aspects of Accounting, Inventory Management, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Strategic Planning and Analysis, and the operational aspects of the business over the parent company and its subsidiaries. You will ideally have an audit or public accounting foundation, an active CPA license, and at least 2 years of controllership (or 5+ years as a senior accountant) with an established e-commerce retail provider.
Primary Duties
Provides leadership and daily direction in accordance with the overall company strategy.
- Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, financial reporting, and payroll using QB Online and other integrated solutions.
- Maintain inventory accounting, management, and standard costing utilizing an inventory management system.
- Ability to manage, export and reconcile Channel/3PL transactions to General Ledger.
- Consolidation reporting and associated corporate governance and tax reporting.
- Communicate information effectively and strategically, delivering results-oriented messages.
- Experience implementing business systems such as inventory management and ERP.
- Manage timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations and provide variance analysis.
- Facilitate monthly close process and provide Management Reporting.
- Prepare Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecasts, and Cashflow Projections
- Identifies and drives change to improve internal controls, policies and procedures to streamline operations and provide superior financial and operational reporting.
Oversee external audits and ensure records are maintained and organized.
Desired Skills and Experience
Preference given to active CPA?s
- Must have a degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration
Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience and 2 years as a Controller
with an e-commerce or online retail company
Experience handling high volume transactions and multiple product lines via various Channels and 3PLs
- Experience in building business models and analysis related to e-commerce issues
- Deep understanding of Merchant Processing procedures and Merchant Banks
- Expert at QuickBooks Online
- Deep knowledge of GAAP
Strong Google Suite skills, especially in Google Sheets and Google Docs.
