Corporate Director Of Plant Operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership and guidance as a professional representative of the corporate office.
• Provides training and mentorship of the Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments.
• Will work cooperatively with the Administrator's within each facility.
• Will provide an entrance and exit conference with the Administrator and Maintenance Director.
• Will provide a written report of all findings, education provided and a plan for each facility to the COO post each visit.
• Actively participates in the QAPI program.
• Is able to step in and function as the Maintenance Director in that individual's absence.
• Responsible for ensuring that each facility is in compliance with all County, State, and Federal Requirements.
• Able to maintain a budget in accordance with the existing facility/corporate budgets.
• Able to develop projects, scope of work in order to complete basic renovations or repairs.
• Provides excellent customer service to all resident's, families, employees and vendors.
• Ensures that all preventative maintenance is completed timely
• Will function as the fire safety officer and be an active team member on the Safety Committee at each facility.
• This position will require some travel and some off hours to address emergency related situations.
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort of the resident's.
• Must have HVAC and Boiler experience.
• Must have experience with basic electrical and other basic maintenance/construction experience.
• Strongly prefer someone with current knowledge of long term care regulations.
