Position Summary
ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. has career opportunity for a Corporate Director of IT. This senior-leader level position is responsible for oversight of the company’s enterprise wide network and infrastructure as well as application development. This is an exempt, full-time position with comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversees all technology solutions and resources while working with company leaders for the purpose of organizational success and growth.
- Directs the organization's strategic direction, design, development, acquisition, and implementation of technology solutions; and directs employees to attain the goals established in the organization's strategic plan.
- Develop and oversee the monitoring and continuous improvement of an enterprise security program. Monitor industry trends and evolving threats with vulnerabilities, monitor control techniques.
- Communicate the organization's technology strategy to company leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Achieves desired results through the use of budgets, proper contracts, and efficient decision making.
- Researches and recommends emerging technology solutions as well as managing emerging security risks and implications for the enterprise.
- Provide oversight and direction for user training and dissemination of employee policies, procedures, standards, controls, and guidelines related to the enterprise’s technology solutions.
- Responsible for compliance management to ensure the fulfilment of regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Act as liaison to third-party auditors during annual audits with regards to technology audit matters.
- Oversees the implementation of the installation and operation of information systems and equipment.
- Keeps abreast of government regulations applicable to systems operations and ensures corporate compliance.
- Manages several direct reports.
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent certification(s) in Information Technology or equivalent prior, proven work experience in the field of Information Technology.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Five plus years relevant corporate IT experience with at least three years in a leadership role in IT.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively.
