Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist Corporate Communications team with various projects including:
- Content Development:
o Brainstorm & pitch ideas for social media and internal content
o Help manage editorial calendar, weekly newsletters and internal digital content
Events:
o Assist with activities on a variety of Corporate Communications programs and events, including large scale, employee engagement efforts, video production and photography
Research:
o Conduct research as needed on key topics related to the food industry and/or business
o Analyze corporate social channels and research digital trends as needed
o Assist media relations team and compile digital clips
Analytics:
o Help compile analytics for both internal and external social media channels
- Minimum education requirements – Sophomore or Junior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, English or related major
- Familiarity with social media including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of basic visual design principles
- Must have previous internship experience
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and able to multitask
- Team player
- Experience with SharePoint and WordPress a plus
