Job Description

Engage in optimization of pharmacy operations and process improvement, focus on measurable results in the department while collaboration with other departments.


Assist management with development of policies and procedures, staff education and competencies, and regulatory compliance action plans.


Responsible to create and maintain the pharmacy department schedule. Manage the schedule by the post of shifts, provide recommendations for shift changes, and find coverage for missing shifts.


Coordinate payroll reconciliation, enter schedule occurrences and other schedule notes in the timekeeping system.


Interview all incoming pharmacy technician staff with Pharmacy department management. Develop and maintain formalized training/orientation program.


Assist in staff evaluation during onboarding, probationary period, and throughout the year.


Perform duties of a Pharmacy Technician and other duties as required.


Qualifications


Pharmacy Technician licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.


Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.


One (1) year of pharmacy experience.
