The primary responsibilities of the Coordinator – Events & Campaigns is to plan and coordinate the Venetian Resorts Group and Leisure sales onsite and offsite events, tradeshows, FAM trips, activations and site visits. In addition, this position will perform duties in cross-functional collaboration with the marketing department.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
- Coordinate event reservations, transportation arrangements, meeting arrangements, accommodations and amenities/gifts.
- Budget and track all expenses related to event, activations, tradeshows, FAM trips, onsite and offsite sales and marketing projects.
- Source out venues and vendors in a timely manner while adhering to project deadlines.
- Manage and track amenity & gift inventory for the sales department that align with compliance policies and procedures.
- Initiate and coordinate vendor on-boarding and streamline all aspects of the payment process with internal departments.
- Work with the event team on creating and presenting meeting agendas, event decks, budgets and amenity ideas to appropriate department team members.
- Communicate client trip arrangements and itineraries to the appropriate department team members.
- Create post event recap decks containing event details and financials to share with department leadership.
- Work with Marketing to create customized material to be used in email campaigns, invites, save the dates etc.
- Facilitate all aspects of the offsite events to include correspondence and communication to organization, registration, exhibits, appointments, giveaways, shipping of materials, invitations, entertainment and any additional related items

21 years of age.- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3 years of events management experience in the hospitality, sales, travel, or tourism industry.
- 3 years of previous experience in hotel sales, event mgmt. or operations.
- 2 years of experience using CRM – Delphi, MS Dynamics, and MS Office products.
- Working knowledge of Delphi, Microsoft Office, CRM, Excel and Access required
- Must possess exceptional multi-tasking capabilities and demonstrated unparalleled customer service orientation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities and collaboration with cross-functional groups.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, administrate and manage minutiae of event coordination, incl. budget and post-event reporting.
- Ability to coordinate multiple internal clients effectively and collaborate with internal Marketing and other partners.
- Must be well organized and able to multi-task and managing various assigned job duties
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in fast-paced, busy environment.
- Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality, results driven, and customer focused.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
