We are currently recruiting for a Cook/Dietary Aide to join our team!

Duties and Responsibilities: Cook/Dietary Aide

• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
• Assist in food preparation for individuals in a variety of settings
• Clean the kitchen and wash dishes, pots and pans
• Work closely with Dietitians and Chefs to ensure residents receive healthy meals based on their specific diet plans
• Serve meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
• Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures

Essential Job Functions: Cook/Dietary Aide

• Adheres to applicable federal, state, local, and agency guidelines, policies, and regulations
• Assists with portioning food for family style service
• Maintains awareness of special dietary needs
• Helps to maintain standards of safety and sanitation in food preparation and storage areas
• Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene
• Attends meetings and training related to job responsibilities
• Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment concerning the sharing of information
• Performs other duties as assigned by cook or supervisor
