Controller

The Alinea Group seeks a full-time Controller to join our Business team. We are passionate about innovation in culinary arts, service, and business operations. The ideal candidate for this business team role has extraordinary attention to detail, ability to manage a growing team, maintains pristine records, problem solves, and works well with other team members.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• 5 plus years experience in a professional setting
• High proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
• Advanced understanding of accounting and/or accounting software (Quickbooks or equivalent)
• Team oriented attitude
• Dedication to confidentiality of sensitive information
• Active CPA License is valued, but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Analyze monthly and yearly financial reports for The Alinea Group Restaurants
• Identify and implement cost saving opportunities
• Complete financial analysis for new business opportunities and due diligence requests
• Manage proper accounting via daily bookkeeping tasks
• Ensure compliance with tax procedures and process tax returns
• Oversee month-end closing of accounts, identify issues and compare against budgets
• Collaborate and deliver weekly reporting to ownership, chefs, and managers
• Track sales data for restaurants
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end data audits
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and communication
• Work collaboratively with our CFO & COO and Business Development Manager on a daily basis
• 5 days per week, Full Time
