Controller - Full Charge Bookkeeper/Construction

Family owned construction company looking for someone who prides themselves on their attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency. Time management will be key to their success. They’ll be working with the President and owner to ensure all aspects of the business run smoothly.

The perfect candidate is organized, efficient, honest and trustworthy. They will have extensive knowledge and experience in the listed qualifications below and the ability to change gears without notice. They will possess the ability to maintain confidentiality when appropriate.

Must be organized, confident, self-motivated, efficient & detail oriented
***Banking transactions and reconciliations for multiple accounts
***Multi-state taxes
***Processing payroll and weekly 941 deposits; P&Ls; Balance Sheets; Excise Tax
***Oversee and assist -
Accounts payable
Accounts Receivable
Budget management
*Forensic Accounting *
Monthly P and L reports
Maintain and insure accuracy of all reports
Pinpoint areas of improvement and cost analysis of expenditures
Multi State reporting
Dept of Revenue,
Employment Security
L&I filings; including:
Labor and industries, Intents and Affidavits

Experience required:
Bookkeeping experience in the construction industry
Construction accounting and an understanding of business operations

Must be fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook (email and calendar)
Experience dealing with agencies such as DOR, IRS, Employment Security, etc.

Salary: $60K to $75K + DOE + Benefits

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 3 years (Required)
• Construction Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)
